We warmly encourage all guests to plan to be in the area the evening before the wedding. With an early 9:30 AM arrival at the port, staying nearby the night before truly makes the morning so much more relaxed and enjoyable for everyone, and we would love to have you close! We have arranged a special group discount at The Westin Long Beach by Marriott for Saturday April 5th and/or Sunday April 6th.
We have secured discounted rates on both room types for our group. Choose what works best for you. Book directly through our group link before the deadline to guarantee your rate.
Here is the full flow of the day. Arrive dressed, arrive on time, and get ready for the most wonderful day at sea!
100 Swinford Street, San Pedro (Terminal B92). Come dressed and ready. We are aiming for 9:30 AM, with 10:00 AM being the latest Royal Caribbean can accommodate us for priority wedding check-in. Arrive at the terminal, check in, and head through security. Once through, the Shoreside Wedding Team should be there to take it from there. If they ask, our wedding group name is Haws Gunnell Wedding.
Sailing guests will need to complete their muster station check-in. Open the Royal app to find your assigned station and follow the steps from there. Staterooms won’t be quite ready yet, so keep your day bag handy, soak it all in, and get ready for the main event!
The wedding party heads to the Star Lounge — Deck 5 to set up the arch, aisle flowers, and sign-in table. It is going to be stunning!
Make your way to the Star Lounge — Deck 5. The bridal party will be there to welcome you!
The moment we have all been waiting for, made even more perfect by having every one of you here to share it with us.
Group photo with everyone, maybe a few fun ones too!
The bridal party and family step away for photos with the Royal Caribbean photographer. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks & juices while we capture some memories!
First dance, cake cutting, dancefloor chaos. Our photographer will be capturing it all, so just look fabulous and leave the rest to us!
Non-sailing guests will be escorted off the ship by 2:30 PM, so say your goodbyes and send them off with love! Sailing guests, please hang tight. We have one more thing before you go explore!
Don't head off just yet! Once our non-sailing guests have said their goodbyes, we would love for all sailing guests to make their way to the front of the ship for one last group photo together. The perfect way to kick off the cruise!
Rooms typically open in the early afternoon, sometimes as early as 1–2 PM, but no guarantees on exact timing. Keys will be in an envelope outside your door. Luggage arrives throughout the afternoon. Change, freshen up, and start exploring the ship!
Head to the deck as Navigator of the Seas leaves the Port of Los Angeles and sets sail for Ensenada! One of the best moments of any cruise. Do not miss it!
We are working with Royal Caribbean to seat all 60 of us together in the Main Dining Room at 5:00 PM and we are feeling great that it is going to happen! We would love for everyone to join us for dinner tonight. It is the perfect way to end the most wonderful day together. One night, multiple tables, 60 people, let's make it happen!
Shows, bars, games, pools. Explore the ship and enjoy every moment of your cruise!
A little preparation goes a long way. Here is everything you need to know to make the morning smooth and enjoyable for everyone. Come dressed and ready to celebrate!
As part of our wedding group package, all guests receive priority boarding, included and handled through our wedding group. No need to do anything special. All guests are kindly asked to arrive at the pier dressed and ready no later than 10:00 AM, but we are aiming for 9:30 AM to give everyone breathing room. The Royal app may show you a different boarding time. Please ignore it and plan to be there at 9:30 AM.
Check-in is open now and closes 2–3 days before sailing. Complete your check-in through the Royal app in advance: add your passport or travel documents, upload your security photo, and print your luggage tags at home. During check-in, the app may ask you to select a boarding time. Go ahead and select any available time, but regardless of what it shows, plan to be at the terminal at 9:30 AM. Priority boarding is handled through our wedding group package.
Once on board, all sailing guests will need to complete their muster station check-in, a quick safety requirement. Your assigned station can be found in the Royal app. Staterooms typically become available in the early afternoon, sometimes as early as 1–2 PM, though timing is not guaranteed. Your key will be in an envelope outside your door; luggage is delivered by stewards throughout the afternoon.
🚌 Getting There: With lots of moving parts and guests, we recommend Ubering or Lyfting in groups. If you are driving and planning to park at the terminal, see the parking details at the bottom of the page.
This is not a black tie event. Think elegant, romantic, and resort-chic. Dress up, look gorgeous, and stay comfortable enough to dance! We would love to invite you to wear our colors: all shades of lavender, purple, blue, pink, grey, and green are welcome, but wear whatever makes you feel your best!
A few things to keep in mind as the day approaches. For those driving to the port, parking details are at the bottom.
These are required to board, so be sure to have them ready! Option A: Passport (easiest). Option B: U.S. Government-issued photo ID plus a certified birth certificate with raised seal. If your name has changed, also bring a bridging document such as a marriage license or divorce decree.
Pack a small carry-on with essentials: a swimsuit, a change of clothes, and anything you might want handy after the ceremony. Checked bags are delivered to staterooms by stewards throughout the afternoon, so having a day bag means you are ready to enjoy the ship right away!
The Royal app has free onboard chat, no internet package needed. Connect to the ship’s Guest Wi-Fi, open the app, and message fellow guests using their stateroom number and birthday. Great for coordinating meetups throughout the cruise!
We have booked the La Bufadora Kayaking Tour at 9:00 AM in Ensenada and we would love for you to join us! Book your spot through the Royal app under Excursions.
On the final morning (Day 5), Royal Caribbean offers convenient bus shuttle transfers directly to the airport. No need to coordinate your own ride! Two departure times are available: 8:15 AM and 9:00 AM. Current pricing is $29 to Long Beach Airport and $35 to LAX. Book your spot early through the Royal app under Excursions as availability fills up quickly.
From LAX, take the 110 Freeway South toward San Pedro. Exit at Harbor Boulevard (same exit as the Vincent Thomas Bridge). Stay to the right and do not go over the bridge. At the light, cross over and turn right into the World Cruise Terminal. Follow signs for parking and passenger drop-off.
